Hi guys,
My customer wants the following requirement and need to know what would be the best way to achieve it.
1- 844- xxxxxx external number is redirected to a DID in customer Call Manager (yyyy).
1. All incoming calls to yyyy should ring in another DID Cisco IP Phone (zzzz) in business hours.
2. All incoming calls to yyyy should ring in a cell phone after hours.
For point 1, I know that just adding extension yyyy to Cisco IP Phone (zzzz) is OK.
For point 2, I know that at time is starting after hours, it should be changed manually having all the incoming calls to yyyy redirected to a cell phone.
My question is...how can I have this without using manually? Maybe specific translation pattern or partitions? maybe using also schedules?

Hi Nacho,
Generally for this type of requirement with CUCM the use of "Time of Day routing" is configured. It will allow for the proper call routing based on the time of day schedule. Here are some config example guides;

Hi guys,
what exaclty I need is the following.
1. All incoming calls during business hours (7am to 7pm) to 2800 rings in Jennifer phone (2996).
2. All incoming calls during non business hours (7pm to 7am and weekends) to 2800 be forwarded to Jennifer cell phone.
For achieve point 1, I created a DN 2800 and added to the Jennifer phone (2996) as secondary line. This DN 2800 has the DN partition as other normal phone extensions. On the other hand I created a translation pattern 2800 with specific partition for business hours that includes the corresponding time period and time schedule for business hours. This translation pattern has a specific CSS (new creation) that includes the business hours partition. I have left in white the called party transformation mask.
For achieve point 2, I created another translation pattern 2800 with specific partition for NON business hours that includes the corresponding time period and time schedule for NON business hours. This translation pattern has the same specific CSS because it inclused both business and NON business hours partition. In called party transformation mask I put the Jennifer´s cell phone (8 for outside and then the number).
Can you please tell me if it will work or I am missing something?

You configure ToD (Time of Day routing), this has been discussed plenty of times before at CSC and I believe there's even a video on it, you can find all the info and references to it on previous posts.

Hi Guys
Can this be setup to change the number every other week? I got a request where I have to forward calls to 2 different number (one per week) and I have not been able to figure this out without doing it manually
