So we have a user_a that has a voicemail that they forward to another user lets say user_b. Before user_a forwards the voicemail they have a short message telling user_b about the voicemail they are forwarding. once user_a is done they forward the voicemail. user_b does have unified messaging enabled so they should receive the voicemail in there email with a wav file attachment of the voicemail, but all they get is the attachment wav file of the short message from user_a and not the forwarded voicemail. however if user_b goes into there voicemail via there phone(or just into unity connection voicemail account) both the message from user_a and the actual forwarded voicemail is there.
Why does the forwarded voicemail not show up in there email? Is there a setting I need to enable to allow this?

Hi,
Are you using VMO plugin with outlook?

no we are not. Primarily because we have thin clients with no audio. but the users that have unified messaging have smart phones and listen to the voicemail email attachments through them.

Sorry for delayed response. If you try to forward the voicemail without editing it, is it received as attachment on user_b. This should work and I am not aware about any setting to disable or enable specific to fowarded messages
