Hello, We are currently upgrading to Asterisk 13.6.0 from Asterisk 1.4.44.

I would like to know if Cisco 7960 and 7961 phones are compatible with Asterisk version 13.6.0

Yes.

Ideally you should be checking this with Asterisk if they are still compatible with their Call Control or not since these phones are EOL way back from Cisco side.

Asterisk has nothing to do with what version it's running on and specific phones.  The main thing to consider is whether or not the phone can operate with SIP standard and what codec is enabled.  Anything else is trivial. 

If the phone has the correct configuration then it'll work with Asterisk, regardless the Asterisk version.
