FXO outgoing call failes in MGCP with CUCM

Hi ,

i ahve cucm 10 with mgcp gateway 3925...

it has 4 port fxo card..in which analog line is connected...

incoming to line is ok..but wen dialing outside with line, it gives silence in begin and then busy tone and disconnect it..

what could be issue...?

Can you add the below:-

mgcp bind media source-interface gig 0/0

mgcp bind control source-interface gig 0/0

no mgcp

mgcp

Yes , this will solve your issue. You have to bind the source interface for signalling and media packets.Test and check please.

1- Can you check the below:-

mgcp dtm-relay voip codec all mode out

no mgcp

mgcp

2-Kindly check the RP which is responsible correctly ."check the number of digits , predot to discard 9 , RL" .

i checked the logs and found the below:-

FXOGS_WAIT_TIP_GROUND

Kindly change the port to LS "Loop start" and test again.

when calls coming inside...it shows unknown call...

how can see the caller details on phone?

Thanks so much for your rating , and i am so happy that your issue solved. Look i am sorry for the delay because i have to check the config before debugs. Anyway can you do a new debug " debug ccapi inout" for incoming call .Keep your mid there all two possible cases for the problem

1- ITSP not send called id and this will check by debug after you will send.

2-Problem for MGCP , MGCP has a big problem to display caller id and most preferred solution is H323 with FXO.

Timeouts wait-release is the amount of time that the FXO takes before the system starts the process for releasing voice  ports after a failed call.
