Hi Geeks,
There is the issue, I have two 2801 routers that convert satellite phone number into local to cover long distance fees.
To do this each of these routers has a 4 ports FXO card and each card is connected to an EUROCOM. When a call come from the PSTN, I have a PRI router that sends the call to one of the 2801 and that 2801 send the call out of one of the 4 port and last piece, the Eurocom connect the call to the satellite.
The main problem is some times I find that there is some calls that been update for more than 4 days!!!!
I assum when the caller hang up the phone, either the router or Eurocom is not release the port to terminate the conversation.
Being working with cisco router for a while,I think the problem might lie in the Eurocom, but what looking for here is there a way to force the router to terminate the conversation after X amount of hours???
Thanks for your help all,
Crazy

Here is you problem explained:

note the ground start method will NOT work unless you are in North America and telco provisions the line like that. The best way would be to upgrade to ISDN BRI instead of FXO and that would give end of trouble and more features.

For this situation, you should find out the correct parameters for the ports (custom-cptone --> dualtone disconnect --> frequency and cadence)
