FXO to FXO forward issue

Dears,

I have gon a scenario such this:

<FixedGSM1>---<FXO_MGCP1>---<CM_extension1000>---<FXO_MGCP2>---<FixedGSM2>-----<mobile.num>

So, when the customer calls FixedGSM1, the calls is getting to DN 1000. That DN has callforward no answer option to forward calls to mobile.num. When the call from customer to mobile.num is placed through FixedGSM2 and after that one of the speaking persons drops the call both FXO ports still in offhook state. As I suppose it is due to some session in the path still active. What could you suggest?

Thank you for your attension

hi Ruslan,

looks like the the  fixed gsm  doesn't support "supervisory disconnect". Try this out under the voice ports...

FXO_Paper#configure terminal

FXO_Paper(config)#voice-port 3/1/1

FXO_Paper(config-voiceport)#supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call

after this do a shut a  shut and a no shut on the voice port . If even after doing the above you still see the port offhook after the call disconnects then use ground start  for the fxo.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Karthik

HI, Karthik

Thank you for your reply. I tried everything from above, did not help. Please take in account that everything works good when I just make call to or from one of the ports, without redirecting the call. But when I use call forward on DN to make a call through the second FXO, it remains offhook after the call.

Hi,

Disconnect issues with FXO has always been an issue.
