FXO trunk || incoming configuration/ design issue...

Hello to all,

One of my Client is looking for a special tpye of configuration. The setup is, we have 18 FXO lines (1000,1001,1002....1017) terminating on H.323 GW. Their end customers only know 1000 phone number, so here 1000 is used as main line number.
We also have CUE which is used as auto-attendant and VM box.

Now, when any of the end customer calls from (PSTN inbound )1000 it will hit AA and give options for press 1 for sales, 2 for finanace, 3 for marketing and 0 for operator. When 1, 2,3 is pressed it goes to hunt pilot of specific group on call manager but when End user dial 0 its reach to the operator and he/she can transfer the call to desired DN, till now our 1000 fxo trunk is in use. Client wants when another end user dials 1000 it should use the next avialable trunk e.g. 1001 or 1002...

when first trunk 1000 is in use is it possible to throw second call to another trunk by trunk group? or please provide your views to acheive this design.

Note:- 1000-1017 is taken as an example, they all are DIDs.

Hi Anuj,

As what i understand from your details provided, you want two or more caller from outside (PSTN world) to call on your main number which is 1000.

since 1000 is actually  an DID number number, then you need to put all lines in hunting from ISP itself, so whenever the first fxo port/line is busy then call should be routed to next available line from ISP itself.

Please let me know whether this 18 lines are in hunting from ISP or not ?

Regards,

Raaj.

Thanks for the reply Raaj.

I will post again in this thread after confirming the same from Client's provider. Actually I got the same answer from one of the other discussions after posting my question.
