Hello everyone, this is my first post and I tried to find an answer to my questions in other posts but didn't find any, I've been really trying to get this done but can't work out a solution.
So this is what I'm trying to do:
I have 2 remote sites and each one has a PBX, in site A I have 4 available lines which are delivered through FXS ports, in site B I have 4 available FXO ports to receive these lines, since they're away from each other I'm trying to connect them both using a cisco 1760 at each site.
in site A the Cisco has 4 FXO ports to take these four lines the PBX delivers and the other Cisco at site B has to get these lines and deliver them to the remote PBX through FXS ports.
I'm really confused about the configuration I have to apply so this works, My thoughts so far have been that when the PBX at site A rings one of the FXO cisco ports the Cisco should forward the call to site B so the other PBX gets the call just as if they were next to each other. I've made some configurations using PLAR (Cisco automatically dials an extension when it senses activity on the port), so when the FXO senses a call it answers and dials an extension which is configured in the dial-peer voip to the remote Cisco at site B so it makes the remote PBX answer the call and from there the PBX will route calls.
I've applied the configuration I wrote about before but it doesn't work so I don't know if my way of seeing this solution is right or maybe I'm missing something.
I don't know if I've been clear enough, please tell me if you need more clarification.
