Hi All,
I have been assigned with a task for Gatekeeper clustering
Scenario: Two CUCM clusters running 7.1.5 version.
Gatekeepers 3900 routers running latest version.
Clusters : CUCM cluster A and CUCM cluster B
Connectivity: Cluster A with two Gatekeeeper, GK A , GK B . GK A is used for processing the calls for region A, GK B used for processign calls from region B. CUCM has got two trunks , one to GK A and one for GK B. They are not inter related.
Cluster B : Only one GK C. Only one trunk with GK C for processing the calls from Region C.
Call flows between the clusters through the GK controlled trunks.
Design: We need to add additional Gatekeeper in Cluster A and cluster B for redundnacy purpose.
GK A2 as a backup for GK A
GK B2 as a backup for GK B
GK C2 as a backup for GK C.
This is possible with HSRP but we are advised to use clustering.
How do we make this possible to have all these in clusterd design?.
What configurations we need to make in GK A2, GK B2 and GK C2 . What configurations needs to be done in CUCM for both the clusters?.
Is this possible with Gatekeeper clustering?.
Cisco SRND talks only about GK clustering with GK A, GK B and GK C. it does not talk about adding additional GK's.
any one has implemented this, if you could share some tips could be great helpful.
Thanks,
Raj

Raj,
The whole purpose of Gatekeeper clustering is to provide alternate gatekeepers within a single domain or ZONE..
So GKA2 and GK A should use Gatekeeper clustering and the same goes for others..
