High Availability for SFTP Servers

Hi,

I'm looking into a solution for our CUCM\CUC Backup.

Both of them are virtual and in different physical locations but with good bandwidth.

we would have 2 SFTP servers, one in each location, and would sit behind a virtual IP (vIP).

If one sftp is down, the vIP would switch to the other one.

See below a diagram.

 the backups would replicate between sftp using unison

That should be fine from UC perspective. UC needs to communicate with
alive sftp server with correct credentials. The process behind the scenes
isn't an issue

You want to test that out before rolling it into production, that's not something I've seen anyone do before, in theory, it should work.
