hi all,
we have TWO voice gateways associated with call manager model cisco 3825.
I need to change the username and password of the voice gate ways.......
what is the CLI command for the same..?
Is there need to restart the Voice gateways after resetting password and username..?

Hi Midhun,
As far as i understand you are trying to change the username and password of the SSH session of your router.
Check the following doc which guides you through the steps

There is no need to restart your router after setting the username and pssword.

Hi,
Am using 2900 series VG's, and used to following cmd for changing the password.
VG(config)#username <username> privilege 15 password <password>

It depends on how your authentication is setup, i.e. TACACS vs. local usernames, and then perhaps separate credentials for SSH/Telnet session, starting with the username command to add NEW user before you delete the old one would be a start.
