How can i registration a sip phone without DN

HI friends

      I have some phone only for Extension Mobility,but i can't registered a phone to  ccm without DN,My phone type is 7841 8841, ccm version is 10.5.

 Can i registration a sip phone without DN.

No, a SIP device will not register with CUCM unless it has a DN, you'll have to give them mock DNs for this purpose.

SIP phone users REGISTER message for registration purpose and SIP-Id (/DN) is mandatory in REGISTER message, hence you have to have DN assigned to phone for successful registration.

is there any official document stating cisco sip phone can not be registered without the DN?,
