How to block IP communicator from registering in CME

Customer wants to block some users PC(IP Communicator)not to register in CME

Disable auto registration and remove the ephone configured with their MAC address.

If you can tell the command to disable the auto registration it is great help.

The commands are:

router#conf t

router(config)#telephony-service

router(config-telephony)#no auto assign

Technically the phone will still register. It just won't get a DN. As well, you can specify multiple ranges so you would need to delete the specific range that has been defined.

The command you're looking for is:

telephony-service

no auto-reg-ephone

As said previously, make sure there isn't an ephone with the mac address defined. You'll need to delete that.
