Hi!!
I have a customer that want the users to dial 112 and this must be converted into na internal extension 888 and not goint to the outside.
Using translation I dont have the option, or I dont know, to remove de three digits 112 and replace them with 888.
I know if I create a dummy extension and forward all to 888 Works but is there any clean way to do this rather then using the dummy extension?

Any reason why TP isn't an option, you can always isolate TP with complete isolated Partition.
You can configure Hunt Pilot as 112 and assign DN 888 to the hunt group. This will Make 888 rings when user dials 112. But I agree with Vivek than TP is the easiest way

Hi all!! Thanks for your answers.
I tried TP but didnt work. Im working with cucm 11 and I found that when I put a partition on TP for incoming calls I get unlocated number. Im assigning the internal partition an internal css to the TP and on the gateway and all css have the internal associated. Maybe the conversion from 112to 888 didnt worked because of that. I will assign, again, a TP with none partition, thats the only way I have incoming calls, and try again.
Never add this issue on other releases

I'm pretty sure this is something you're not configuring properly, do you have anything else that could match 112 or 888???
Have you confirmed your CSS/partitions are properly configured for this to work the way you want??

112 translated to 888 it's working now.
Regarding the css I think I have everything well configured :)

Hi all!!
Just to inform that the issue I was on the incoming translation, regarding the DID calls, was a Cisco bug.
After I upgrade from release 11.0.1.20000-2 to 11.0.1.21900-10 everything started working like it should.
If you don't remember the issue was having the internal partition associated to my incoming translation coming from my mgcp gateway :)
This mess up. also, with the translation that I need to do regardin the 112 :)
Case closed.
Thanks all for your participation.
Best Regards,
