When IP Communicator (Windows XP) registers to the CM 8.5 you can see an IPv6 address in addition to IPv4 address in the phone's page in Callmanager. This prevents this phone from being used as UCCX Agent (you get an error at the login complaining that the phone is IPv6 enabled and it's not supported). I've found another thread here that talked about upgrading UCCX 8.0 to SU3, but unfortunately there's no fix and SU's for UCCX 8.5 yet, therefore I need to find a way to disable IPv6 for CIPC. I tried looking for this in CUCM and couldn't find how to disable ipv6 it. Does anyone know solution?
1. In the CICP preferences - nothing
2. Common device configuration profile - changed IP addressing mode to IPv4 only - didn't do anything
3. Enterprise parameters - Enable IPv6 was already disabled, changed allow auto-configuration for phones to Off, didn't do anything

Not sure if this would help, but what if you unistalled IPv6 from the XP workstation completely? Not sure if you are using it in your existing enviroment or not, but this may be an option.

There was no IPv6 stack in TCP/IP (it's XP), but i didn't find my fix. I was runnign XP on Parallels in Mac OSX. I disabled IPv6 in parallels in network settings and CM phone page doesn't show IPv6 address anymore and Agent works.
