It’s still unclear what exactly you’re trying to achieve. The VMware that comes pre-installed on the BE7K can be downloaded from the data store. You can use them in evaluation mode, although I don’t recall the duration - it’s either 60 or 90 days. Once the evaluation period expires, you’ll need to reinstall it. However, if you’d like to continue using it without reinstalling, then you’ll need to obtain a license key.
To install VMware on the UCS 240 server, you’ll need to boot the VMware ISO image using the UCS CIMC KVM console. Mount the ISO and boot it from the CIMC.
