Dear all,
I'm trying to figure out how to get a private telephone book up an running on my phone above (with german locale if this is important).
What I've done:
I've added into my SEPxxxxxx.cnf.xml file the URL of my webserver:
<directoryURL>192.168.178.10/Cisco/dir.xml</directoryURL>
I've created the following test file (dir.xml):
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<CiscoIPPhoneMenu>
<Title>Phonebook</Title>
<Prompt>Dir External</Prompt>
<MenuItem>
<Name>Mum</Name>
<URL>Dial:0123456</URL>
</MenuItem>
<MenuItem>
<Name>Dad</Name>
<URL>Dial:01265432</URL>
</MenuItem>
</CiscoIPPhoneMenu>
I'm also able to open the file via the URL in my webbrowser.
However when I press the 'book' key I just get three entries (bear with me if the translation doesn't match exactly in English since I have translated from the German locale):
Calls in absence
Picked calls
Called numbers
No entries from my dir.xml file are shown at all...
Any ideas/hints what the issue could be!?
Your help is much appreciated!
Thanks
Carsten

Not sure where this phone is registered, but can you add "http://" in the directory URL and then test.
Something like - <directoryURL>http://192.168.178.10:80/Cisco/dir.xml</directoryURL>
Can you take a http capture depending upon what devices you have ?
