How to find active calls (LAN & WAN) in CUCM

Dear All,

How do I know the number of active/live calls (LAN & WAN) in cucm.

The best you can do, is use RTMT to see the total number of calls on a device (Subscriber, gateway, MTP, etc). But you can't break down active calls any other way, or even get a list of the calls.

Hi,

you can check the active calls on your IOS router either through the ISDN channels which are reserved or through the dial peers in use at that particular frame of time. But using RTMT would be a best idea.

show voice call status

show isdn active

show call active voice

show call active voice br

show call active voice (on mgcp)

show voice call summary

show dial-peer voice summary
sh voice port summary

Also if you want to see the active calls with ANI and DNIS info, then above can be useful. you can find many more if you type ? after show voice..

I have also got a couple of FXOs and FXSs, it would be helpful if you could suggest some basic troubleshooting commands and their impact on router CPU?
