How to make phones LED alerting only for external call

Hi,  

I need to configure some Cisco 7800 series IP phones in a hunt group and that only LED alerting while call from PSTN to the hunt pilot number,

but normal ring alerting while internal call. Is possible to configure this function in CUCM 10.5?

I tried to use DND function with LED alerting, but it also LED alerting for all Internal call...

Hi Yung,

Not possible to differentiate that behavior from internal to external call, its working as designed.

Hi.

It is useful to know that the cadence of ringing sound from external and internal calls are differents.

May be it helps.

Your best bet might to to assign dedicated line appearance to calls from the line group vs. other calls, this way user can easily tell what type of call it is.
