If you haven't configured CME, you need to start by reading the config guide

Hi,
I have got one CCME 3845 router and recently we have purchased new router to make as standby i.e. CCME 3945 with Cisco Unified Communications Manager Version 8.6.
I did backup of configuration from router 3845 and restore in 3945. Now the issue is like this. When i run the command "sh phone registered" it give me following result:
BDFCL-CCME#sh ephone registered
No ephone in specified type/condition.
BDFCL-CCME#
I asked the supplier and they said License will be activated in next 60days automatically. But this is the case then the router should be functional.
I run this command to check the license:
BDFCL-CCME##sh license
BDFCL-CCME#show license detail cme-srst
Feature: cme-srst Period left: 8 weeks 3 days
Index: 1 Feature: cme-srst Version: 1.0
License Type: EvalRightToUse
License State: Active, In Use
Evaluation total period: 8 weeks 4 days
Evaluation period left: 8 weeks 3 days
Period used: 20 hours 42 minutes
Transition date: May 04 2013 07:47:00
License Count: 240/0 (In-use/Violation)
License Priority: Low
Store Index: 7
Store Name: Built-In License Storage
Please help me.

HI
I think your ip phones have not taken the new configuration like the new IP address and new option 150. Try to do reset of the phone and force them to get new IP address information from your new router DHCP configuration.
Also after activating the CME/SRST license, have you restarted the router.

Hi Tashi,
Just to add what Mr. Ronak has said, can u also cross-check the IOS version of Cisco router since there is a bug related to registration of ip phones .
regds,
aman

Yeah i have restarted the router twice. Can you tell me how to reconfigure?
03-06-2013 12:37 AM
Hi
Your configuration looks good. I would suggest you to manually configure one IP phone to register with new router after erasing the entire configuration on the Ip phone.

Hi,
I removed all ephone configuration with following command:
no ephone-dn 1 dual-line
no ephone 1
wr mem
after removing the configuration i reboot the router.
After rebooting i add one ephone using following command:
ephone-dn 1 dual-line
number 1001 secondary 324687
name Operator
call-forward busy 1002
call-forward noan 1002 timeout 10
ephone 1
mac-address 0021.A086.6862
type 7906
button 1:1
pin 3281
wr mem
Reload the router once again.
I checked the ephone registration using following command:
BDFCL-CCME#sh ephone registered
No ephone in specified type/condition.
BDFCL-CCME#
Still its same. Anything wrong?
I have following configuration after following above steps:
=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~= PuTTY log 2013.03.06 15:42:19 =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=
sh runn
BDFCL-CCME#sh running-config
