How do I go back to the call that I tried to transfer to someone who did not answer? I'm using Cisco 8811 phone. There is no button that says "Resume" or "Retrieve Call." Help!!

If you think of it from the perspective that you initiate a second call for the call transfer it makes more sense. But yeah you’re right that I did not take any part of the outline of the UI of the phones.

Not to be picky, but the answer that you selected as the solution isn’t exactly what I would have thought that you would select as it’s not at all relevant to your question.

Once you have completed the transfer you will not be able to retrieve the call again.

Based on what you described it sounds like you’re doing a supervised transfer, then you’re not releasing the call, so in that case you can resume the original call.

When you hang up the call to the intended transfer target you should get a Resume soft key showing up on the phone. Use that to retrieve the original call.

Ok. How do I "hang up" the call to the intended transfer?

You just end the call.

Which button do I use to "end" the call in order to get the "Resume" button to show up?

Do as you normally do when you end a call. That should give you a resume button to retrieve/go back to the original call that was put on hold when you initiated the transfer.
