Hi

How do I start the Cisco IP Communicator SoftPhone minimized to the Taskbar system tray on WinXP ?

Minimize the  interface:

Do one of the following:

Click the minimize button in the top right corner of the interface
Click the Cisco IP Communicator taskbar button one or more times

thanks for answer.

I am aware of how to minimize the program once started, this is no problem.

The problem is, the program startes maximized when I boot my PC each morning. I just want it to start minimized to the system tray, like my virus scanner, Skype, and all the other stuff, i.e. leaving my desktop clean.

This can be achieved by settng the CIPC shortcut's Run property on the Shortcut tab to " Minimized ". Screenshot below..
