HTTP status 404- /ccmadmin/ on new install of CUCM 12.0

hello I just finished a lengthy new install of CUCM 12.0 on ESXI 6.5.  getting a 404 not found error on /ccmadmin/showHome.do

any advice to repair the install?  i really would not like to repeat this one.

How long has it been since the install finished and you trying to access the GUI?

about an hour.  so far i have tried rebooting.  and stopping and starting the tomcat service.

now it is working .. thanks i guess there is some delay built in there.

You can use the CLI command "utils service list" to show you the current status of services. I often use it to monitor the boot process of a server, especially one that seems to be slow.

appreciate that.  i am trying to get up to speed on the cli commands.  

**edit ssh works fine without additional config .. if you use the correct credentials.
