We have a strange issue where we try and alter the timeout of our hunt group from 12 to 25 seconds before going to voice mail but when we do instead of going to the final number 550 (voicemail pilot) the call just cuts off. If we change the timer back to 12 seconds its work fine again.
Is there a reason this might happen? I can post the config if required.
Thanks

Hi Andy,
If you could post the config it would be very helpful
You may be hitting this restriction;
To define the number of seconds after which a call that is not answered is redirected to the next number in a voice hunt-group list, use the timeout command in voice hunt-group configuration mode. To return to the default timeout, use the no form of this command.
timeout seconds
no timeout
Timeout period is 180 seconds.
Voice hunt-group configuration (config-voice-hunt-group)
If Call Forward No Answer is configured for a directory number in the voice hunt group, set the timeout value of this command to a value that is less than the timeout value of the call-forward noan command.
The following example shows how to define a no-answer timeout of 15 seconds for each hop between phones in peer hunt-group 25:
Router(config)# voice hunt-group 25 peer
Router(config-voice-hunt-group)# timeout 15

Hi Andy,
Thanks for posting up the config. Is this the Huntgroup causing you problems?
voice hunt-group 3 parallel
final 550
list 218,219,220,235
timeout 15
pilot 503
If so, is the list accurate?
Cheers!

That is indeed the hunt group and as far as im aware the list is accurate.
Have you spotted something? The CFNA on each ephone-dn is set to 30.

Hi Andy,
I'm seeing what you are seeing
I was just curious if the config was from today or perhaps an older "saved" copy.
Cheers!

Hi Rob,
No that config is old, we've even rebooted the system to see if it makes a difference but it didnt.
I'm wondering if its a bug?
Cheers
