Hunt List and Voice Mail

Hello,

we have CM ver 11.5

My Line Group includes this DNs:
5551
5552
5553
5554

a hunt point 8888 -> HL -> this line group

On all those DNs (in this group) there is a FORWARD ON BUSY and ON NO ANSWER to the hunt point 8888.

We want that each DNs will get to his own VM after the call finishes the hunt.

for example: dialed 5551 -> hunt point 8888 -> vm of 5551

how should i configure it ?

Thanks

Your scenario is what the "Call Forward No Coverage" setting is on the DN. Along with that you have to check the box for "Use Forward Settings of Line Group Member" (which replaced "Use Personal Preferences" in older versions) for final fowarding on the hunt pilot.

That combination causes calls forwarded from a DN to a hunt pilot to return to the DNs CFNC for final forwarding. If you want the call to go to the DNs VM, check the box for VM on the CFNC setting on the DN.

Keep in mind that if that hunt pilot is used for other purposes, the final forwarding settings will not work for direct calls to the pilot. In that case you will want to have a second pilot for the direct calls. (Same number in a different partition.)

1) Once call is forwarded to Hunt Pilot, the forwarding setting of DN cannot be used to route the call now. You can use the forwarding no answer setting on the Hunt Pilot page itself to route call to a dedicated number.
2) if this is a service desk kind of environment then you can configure a shared mailbox for all the Extension so that they can use it to receive and send the Voice Mails. Look for General Delivery Mailbox configuration or Add a single mailbox with ALternate extension set to LineGroup Members.
