Hunt Pilot Forward Settings

Hi,

There is a Hunt Group configured in my organisation. Now one of the user has requested when calls come to his phone extension via Hunt Pilot then it should forward to his mobile number. I checked "Use Forward Settings Of Line Group Member" option under Hunt Pilot and in extension's UDP profile I have put forwarding to his mobile number i.e. under Forward All. But still when call comes to his extension, his number still rings and does not get forwarded to his mobile number. But when I directly call his ext then it is getting forwarded to his mobile number.

Cisco Unified CM Console

System version: 10.5.2.12901-1

Can please anyone suggest something here ?

Thanks in advance!!

This is working as designed. Calls through a hunt group do not honor the call forward settings of the individual members.

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for a revert. So you mean this functionality will not work, if so then do you have any idea of an alternate way through which I could configure this thing ?

One option is to configure single number reach functionality so that the user's mobile phone rings at the same time as the desk phone. Take a look at the section on configuring Unified Mobility.

Brandon,

I have tested RDP functionality already and its working fine but if user need to manage the call forwarding then he does not have access to Remote Destination through which he could un-check line associated with RDP. Users only has access to user portal which doesn't give them the option.

Also he only wants hunt pilot calls to be forwarded to his mobile and not all of the calls. I am wondering why the option is there under hunt pilot then, if it cannot be configured.

The "Use Personal Preferences" or "Use Forward Settings of Line Group Member" is referring to the Call Forward No Coverage setting of a DN when a call is forwarded to a hunt group. It has no bearing on calls that arrive at the hunt group. These calls will never honor the call forward settings of line group members.

Alright, I think RDP is the only solution then. Thanks for updating Brandon, cheers!!!
