Hi,
we have an "issue" with hunt pilot on a cucm 11.5 environment.
We created a Hunt Pilot with a Line Group. We can call the Hunt Pilot and one Line Group Member will answer.
No Problem. What we want to do - we want to hide the number of the line group member on calling phone. the calling phone should always see the name and the number of the hunt pilot (if alert and if connected)
Hunt Pilot "Serivce Desk" (100) will be called from user phones (201,202)
The Line Group Members of the hunt pilot 100 will be sd1 (101) sd2 (102) sd2(103)
1.We did not check "display line group member dn as connected party"
If user 201 calls Service Desk 100 he see on his phone the alerting name "service desk" and the number "100"
If a line group members takes the call for example sd1 (101) the user on phone 201 see on his phone connected name "sd1" and tjhe number "100"
We expected to see the name "service desk" ?
2. If we check "display line group member dn as connected party" we see after call connect name "sd12 and number "101" on the calling phone 201 - thats ok.
We are confused about the first case - Can someone explain why we do not see the name of the huntpilot ("service desk") and the number of the hunt pilot (100) if we do not check "display line group member dn as connected party" ?
We do not set the Service Parameter "Always Display Original Dialed Number" (Default False)
We tried shortly - the user complained because they saw on phone display "number@cucm"
There is a description in Bugid CSCuy44000 (Phones incorrectly display URI under OnHook Dialing

Here's one way to accomplish this
1. Create a CTI route point with the DN of your hunt pilot and configure the alerting/display name "Service Desk"
2. Change the hunt pilot DN to a different number.
3. Call forward the route point to the hunt pilot.

thanks for answering - but this did not solving our "issue"
on the calling phone display the name changed (if call connect) from "Service Desk" to "sd01" (not ok) - the number "100" did not changed (ok)
The feature "Display Line Group Member DN as connected party" iunder hunt pilot number "connected party transformation" is not checked.
User Phone 1 (201) calls Service Desk Hunt Pilot Number (100) or he calls 111 (CTI Port forwarded to Hunt Pilot 100)
In Alerting Mode the 201 Phone Display shows "Service Desk" "100" - If Line Group Member takes the call the Calling Phones Display change to "sd1" "100"
So we do not really understand the sense of the featuer (i attached prtscr.) - it seems to influence only the connected party number not the connected party name ?
