HI,
I have a simple question.
I'm using call manager version 8.6. I have configured hunt pilot as range of numbers instead of specific number.
eg: 898949X
it wil work properly right. I want to confirm.
I tested it is working fine.

Yes, it is allowed to use special characters in Hunt Pilots and documented:-
