Inbound International Call Question

Hello, I am receiving complaints that people outside the U.S. are dialing our number and are then prompted with a second dial tone.  They then re-dial the number and it will ring through to our phones.  My question is where is this secondary dial tone coming from?  Thanks for your help!

Add "direct-inward-dial" on your inbound POTS dialpeer.

Example:

dial-peer voice 1 pots

incoming called-number .

direct-inward-dial

Look at your call flow to determine where it might be coming from.

No way to tell without more info, that's why you need to look at how the call flow is handled in your environment.

Hi, this come from the gateway which is set to run a two stage call, if you want to be in one stage with on dial tone configure DID.
