Dear Cisco-community!
My CEM version 8.6 does't know the 7937 conference phone till now. I would like to add it to Phone Firmware. The other models use a firmware file with end on .SBN or .loads.
I only have got the following files for the 7937. Which one can I use?
apps37sccp.1-4-5-7.bin
cmterm-7937-1-4-5-7-SCCP.cop.sgn

Hi,
You can follow this procedure:
1. Download the latest firmware of 7937 phone "cmterm-7937-1-4-5-7-SCCP.zip" from
https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=281433475&flowid=46221&softwareid=282074289&release=1.4(5)&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=all
2. Extract the zip file and add the file to flash.
3. Bind the file "apps37sccp.1-4-5-7.bin" to tftp-server flash:
"tftp-server flash:apps37sccp.1-4-5-7.bin"
4. Go to telephony-service
"load 7937 apps37sccp.1-4-5-7.bin"
"no create cnf-files"
"Create cnf-files"
5. Reset the ephone
6. Check if the ip phone registers.

The phone still shows "File not found" and reboots.
Is there any debug command, which shows the name of the missing file?

That's great, for any CME related issues you can always check the CME admin guide first to verify the config part.
