installing a version for which no official bootable cd exist

Hi there,

In a couple of weeks I will need to add a subscriber to an existing CUCM cluster. That existing cluster no longer runs the original version, but has upgraded to a SU update.

I know it is possible to swap the bootsector for a downloaded iso, but is there a Cisco certified way of adding a subscriber to an existing cluster, or is this the only way to get the version right?

Hi Tom,

What u can do is while building the new Subscriber with a bootable media with which u have build the Publisher/subscribers , you would get the upgrade option ,at that time point  u can use upgraded patch [SU] and build the subscriber to a version running in others servers in a cluster?
