Hello,
I am wondering if anyone can give me guidance as to how to route calls for an intercom.
As an example,
Person presses 1 on intercom which routes it to extension 9999

I am using CallManager 4.1

And what exactly are you using for intercom???
This feature is not included in any CCM so it has to be something not in CCM.

Some customers have a Manager / Assistant intercom configured in this way.
On the assistants phone add a second line set to auto answer on speaker phone and label it Intercom.
On the managers phone just add a speed dial pointing to new DN on the assistants phone.
If you want calls in both directions just reverse the proccess. It may be worth creating new partitions and CSS to stop the intercom being called by anybody other than the manager.
Is this the kind of functionality you were looking for?

Thanks for the reply.
Actually, I am in the process of planning an intercom system for a campus residence. I do not want the outside keypad number to be the same as their extension, for security reason.
The keypad will be a 3 digit extension, their rooms are a 4 digit.
Therefore, I want the 3 digit extension to call forward all to the 4 digit (their actual extension).
I am planning on setting this up with their own partitions and call spaces and use a translation pattern for the 3 digit extension to 4 digit.
