IP Phone: 7841 SIP
Cisco CUCM 11.5
We have lobby phone which is used for an emergency situation to get immediate assistance. My plan is to create intercom as the first line so as soon as the user pick the receiver the call will be routed to preconfigured DN which in my case is unity call handler and user can reach required department.
The issue I face is to make the first line as an intercom. the attached error occurs. if I make the second line as an intercom then user training is required to click second line button for the service, since it is a guest phone ideally training not possible.

Hi Saleem,
Instead of looking at this as an Intercom you need to look at this as a Hotdial or PLAR line which can be configured on Line 1;

Tested in CIPC, it is working as expected, need to test on SIP phones from test.
