Hi Syed,

Cause code 41 indicates a network failure.

41

Temporary failure. The call was disconnected due to a network failure. This code appears for some long distance providers if the hunt sequence is incorrect. PRI lines must be set up for a flex hunt sequence (not a float hunt sequence).

Refer to the link below:

Hi Aseem,

Thank you for your quick response.

FYI: This call is between two phones (7945g & CIPC) which are in the same site and registered to the same cucm.

Hi Syed,

No matter what the topology is, cause code 41 indicates a network issue. I would suggest you to review your QOS settings for RTP. You can setup packet captures on your switch to check for any TCP re-transmissions or drops. Also, check from CMR records to see any Jitter or packet drops.

Aseem

Thanks again Aseem.

RTP & CMR will come into play after call is established, right?

However I shall double check Qos settings.
