Hi,
We have CUCM 12.5 and 3905 IP Phones
We faced a problem while implementation third party call recording system with the CUCM for some DNs
The call recording depends on span monitor to capture traffic
The problem is that when the 3905 phone initiate a call
The "To SIP" address field showed in Wire-Shark is not displaying all the dialed digits. Only it displays the first digit as shown below:
In case of Internal Call: [The dialed number is 3453]
From: sip:3164@172.16.X.X
To: sip:3@172.16.X.X
In case of external Call to SIP Trunk to gateway : [The dialed number is 9234538374]
To: sip:9@172.16.X.X
CUCM traces shows the same symptom in the SIP TO field
It seams this phone 3905 isn't sending digit by digit to CUCM
I solved this by configuring sip dial-rules
But it cause high delay when dialing from these phones
Is there any other way to solve this problem without sip dial rules
Or any solution to avoid the delay in dialing after applying the sip dial rules
The phone firmware is the latest

It is solved by SIP dial rules as I mentioned above
You can lower the inter-digit timeout to reduce the delay
There is no other workaround for this
