Dear All:
I am new with this equipments and I do not have idea how to start to solve this problem.
My Cisco IP Phone 7942 does not start after factory reset.
It stopped in a Cisco splash screen with a circle with a dot inside.
Please, I would be grateful for your help.

can i install tftp server on my PC and put that firmeware on my PC then connect the IP phone 7942 which is not working and let boot and take the TFTP from my PC, it's possible.

This type of an issue occurs when the phone is configured and connected as a VPN Client through an ASA.

do you have any issue to configure the phone while he is "upgrading"...
There is no way to configure the TFTP server adress in it...
