Hello
I have a little question, if bought some Cisco IP Phone 8865 and I connect it with the wireless connection, can I use the network port on the phone for connecting a computer?
Thanks a lot

Hi,
Yes you can still use the network port even when you connect wireless.

Unless they have changed something on those new phones, that has never been possible, the built-in switch has always been disabled when you use the wireless option.

Hi,
IS thats why that network port is given so that you can daisy chain your PC and dont have to run another set of network cable.

Thanks for your answer :-)
just for be sure, I will not use a network cable on the cisco phone, only a wireless connection and if I connected a pc to the computer port the computer will have the network ?
I have a lot of Cisco 7942 and I use the computer port for connected the computer, but I use a cable connection on the switch port of the phone.
