Hi All!

I have no.of questions with respect to Phone Call history & Internal Provisioning. Kindly clarify

When IP Phone access the call history has there any interaction between CUCM and Phone to retrieve the call logs ?

where exactly call log resides ?

What is the exact functionalities Java Mid lets ( Application/Missedcall and Etc ) installed in the phone ? What it's make difference compare to external service provisioning ?

If the call logs are stored locally how normalization & globalization conversion applied to phone history ?

Thanks in Advance !!

No, the phone logs are local to the phone, they're not in CUCM.

Anything you do, normalization/globalization/changes are done in CUCM, and the results delivered to the phone.

Hi Jaime,

Thanks for your reply.  I have some more doubts.

How TFTP Server impacting the phone logs for SCCP Phones. If TFTP Server not associated in Phone configuration , it's not updating the call history.

Thanks in Advance
