Hi
Cisco IP Telephony endpoints management has become a big liability in terms of manpower and reachability. The options like deleting the ITL files, managing the logos, checking the activity on the phone, ect takes alot to have physical access to these devices.
Is there any tool, from Cisco, which can do these remote management of enpoints. I reiterate, does Cisco provide any tool to manage enpoints remotely?

You can use CDR records to find out how often the phones are being used. ITL file deletion is only done via a manual process, no way to get around it at this point. Not sure what you are referring to about managing the logos, but you can use the phone designer to load the customized background images on the phones.

Here's a non-cisco tool that allows for some bulk management of phones such as deleting CTL/ITL files called PhoneView by Unified FX:

Joe,
Good point, and Saif I'm afraid Cisco doen't provide this capability, if you consider paging to the phone this is a core PBX type capability that Cisco still do not provide ditectly and depend on the Cisco Partner community to close those gaps.
Saif,
You make a very valid and good point in relation to endpoint managment, with the profilieration and enhanced capabilities of IP Phones it's now more important than ever to simplify their management. It is for just that reason we created PhoneView in order to elimination site visits in almost all situations. As long as the phone is online and registered there is not a lot you cannot do with PhoneView, even delete ITL files from 1000's of phones in a matter of minutes.
As an example of how simple it is to manage phone endpoints in bulk here is PhoneView in action performing a bulk delete of the ITL file remotely:

Hi Saif,
Something like this perhaps to remote control any IP phone -
and this to automate mass phone operations like changing backgrounds and deleting ITL files
sorry, but this is not Cisco
