Is the anyway to set a pin on internal calling?

Hello Everyone,

So I have a CUCM version 12.5 that is used only for internal calling. Meaning that the voip phone system is only used to dial people within the building using extensions without going out to a WAN. I would like to make it where phone users are required to enter a pin to dial certain extensions (VIPS and such). Is there a way to do this? If not, is there anyway for me to lock down dialing for internal calls?

Thank You,

Matt

You need to configure extension mobility, pretty easy to find documentation on it

No, there is nothing provided natively to do that, unless you use EM and ask everyone to login/logout as necessary.

You'd need a 3rd party product to do something like that.

Restrict calls between endpoints is via CSS/partitions, the SRND discusses this topic in detail.

How would I go about setting in a log in or log out on the phone systems? Can you send me a link with instructions on how to do that?

Thanks,

Matt
