Is the VG202 supported in the CM 4.2(3)

Hi,

I was wondering if the VG202 is supported on the call manager 4.2(3)!

I found in the datasheet of the VG202 the following:

"The Cisco VG200 supports centralized configuration via Cisco CallManager 3.1 software. This setup allows the Cisco CallManager administrator to configure the settings for the VG200 locally and download the configuration to a remote VG200 using Extended Markup Language (XML), thereby eliminating the need to locally connect each Cisco VG200 in the CallManager network."

But I am not sure if it means it is supported on 4.2(3).

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Jacinto,

Support for the VG202 and VG204 was added in CUCM 7.x and 6.1(3)

no CUCM 4.x versions

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your answer!

Is there any other Cisco Analog voice gateway supported in CM 4.2?

We have a CM 4.2 and need a Analog voice gateway!

Hi Jacinto,

You are most welcome my friend

You will have to search online (google "cisco ata 186") for this product which supports

2 analog lines per device but is no longer available from Cisco;

Cheers!

Rob

PS: this is assuming (I know ) that you only want a few Analog devices. if you are looking to support

more than that you can look for the VG224 or VG248.
