Hi

We have a CISCO 2811 gateway with 2 T1 port. The serial interface 0/0/0 is confiqure to connect a T1 PRI (NI2). The configuration is push by our call manager 6

The ISDN status is:

%Q.931 is backhauled to CCM MANAGER 0x0003 on DSL 0. Layer 3 output may not apply

ISDN Serial0/0/0:23 interface

dsl 0, interface ISDN Switchtype = primary-ni

L2 Protocol = Q.921 0x0000 L3 Protocol(s) = CCM MANAGER 0x0003

Layer 1 Status:

ACTIVE

Layer 2 Status:

TEI = 0, Ces = 1, SAPI = 0, State = MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED

TEI = 13, Ces = 255, SAPI = 0, State = TEI_ASSIGNED

Layer 3 Status:

0 Active Layer 3 Call(s)

Active dsl 0 CCBs = 0

The Free Channel Mask: 0x807FFFFF

Number of L2 Discards = 0, L2 Session ID = 145

The layer 2 status return this message

TEI = 13, Ces = 255, SAPI = 0, State = TEI_ASSIGNED

We can place and received calls from this T1. What is the meaning of this message?

We have other T1 comming in other CISCO 2811 gateway and we have no message like this.

Can you post the show run of the router? Thanks.

Hi

Here is the show run of the gateway.

Thanks!

TAC solved the problem yesterday.

1- On the interface Serial0/0/0:23 write no in front of the fowlowing lines.

no encapsulation hdlc

no isdn switch-type primary-ni

no isdn incoming-voice voice

no isdn bind-l3 ccm-manager

and shutdown the interface

2- shutdown voice-port 0/0/0:23

3- shutdown controller T1 0/0/0

and add no pri-group timeslots 1-24 service mgcp from controller T1 0/0/0

4- wr (save the config)

5- reload the gateway

After that the gateway downloaded the config from the call manager.

No more error with the isdn status.
