Hi,
We have ISR 4321 to be configure for fxs interface using dial-peer voice. Upon checking there no pvdm4 inside the router. The router got uck9 license. Previous using 2911, we install fxs card, uck9 license and pvdm3 to make fxs interface dial-peer voice working (this is correct or not?). On 4000 series, can we configure fxs interface without this pvdm4 and only using uck9 license? It able to work?

The NIM FXS and FXO cards already include proper DSPs onboard, hence there is no need for additional PVDMs on the router to make these work.

This is my finding
For ISR 4000 series, analog module such as nim-fxs no need pvdm4 for voice packetization.
Meanwhile, ISR G1 and G2 need pvdm2 or pvdm3 for voice packetization for analog and digital
are these statement correct? Can anyone able to justify this?
