Hello,
I am experiencing the same issue with two different Cisco 7970 IP Phones. The scenario is as follows:
The user receives a call and answers without issue. The user receives a second call, on the same line. When the user presses the "Answer" soft key the phone drops the call or hangs up on the second call.
The only work around that I have found is if the user puts the first call on hold by pressing the hold button, then selects the incoming call and presses "Answer".
Any help would be appreciated.

What firmware is on the phone? What version of CUCM?
