Issue :

- Issue with Wireless Plantronics headset with Cisco 7962 IP Phone

- User's Cisco IP Phone 7962 firmware SCCP42.9-4-2SR3-1S is facing issues while picking up calls (Primary as well as Secondary) with the help of headset.

- Wireless option on the phone page already enabled.

- All user facing this issue.
- Headset tried with other phone but it remains same.
- Coming in call cannot get answered via the headset
- Physical phone without headset is working well
- Same kind of wireless headset showed the same issue
- Tested User's headset during the call – not working at all – even if battery is fully charged
- Suggestion to get User’s phone firmware upgraded to the version User's working phone currently have.
- When User is on the phone with her own headset and a 2nd call comes in, she cannot take the 2nd call as the headset disconnects current call and 2nd call fails, too
- User is then testing working phone with his own headset, too. Outcome: same problem as before
- Unaffected user then testing functionality with his own phone and headset. Outcome: same problem
- Major problem is intermittently that Affected user, when using headset, cannot take any call

Please help.

Can you please let us know the model of Plantronics headset and the model/part number of the APC (link below for example) cord you are using with the headset base.
