Anyone know of a workaround to the lack of pickup group functionality in Jabber? Ideally I'm looking for some way of, say, entering a short code which can perform the same function as the GPickUp softkey would... The workaround I have at present is to forward unanswered calls to a hunt group containing all the other staff on broadcast... which is horrible...!
Cheers!

J4W 10.5 was released to Early Adopters this morning - it now has pickup functionality.

Hello there,
So, 10.5 is out, and the Release Notes does mention Call Pickup as a feature, but I can't get it to work.
Did someone else tried that?

You have to modify the jabber config xml to enable these:
EnableCallPickup
EnableGroupCallPickup
EnableHuntGroup

Kind of obvious huh.. didn't look for new paremeters for this.
That worked out fine! Thanks!
