Hi
On our companys behalf, I would like to try out Jabber instead of our old Cisco Communicator 8.6 softphone. We would like to use a Chromebook for this instead of a Windows PC. Is it possible to use Jabber together with a Chromebook?

Thank you for your quick response :)
That was great news, but sad to see so few Chromebooks supported though...any chance that more models gets support in the near future? (I have a Asus Chromebook Flip C302 which performs very good) Can I keep up with news about this in any way?
Regards Olof

Could you please advise why only certain models of Chromebook are supported?
We have Asus C434T and they are running 78.0.3904.106, so several versions later than you advised as minimum.
It was suggested to us by another source that version 53 was the minimum as it was the first that supported Android apps. We have several other Android apps running on our Chromebooks without issue, but whilst we can run the app, we are unable to log in, even when we provide the server details manually and use accounts that work via the Windows app and on Android phone.

I run into the same issue on a Pixel Slate, phone services will not connect but voicemail does.
