Latency when Picking Up a Call

There's latency when a call comes in from another site (two different separate Call Managers, same company, domain, different sites), there's a one to two second delay until the calling person can hear me (us). When placing a call to them, I can hear them and vice versa just fine.

Any insights will be greatly appreciated.

Hi

Have you checked to see what delay you have between your CUCMs? Try pinging between them for a quick check.

It's probably high latency - the phones' buffers will make it pretty imperceptible for actual RTP streams, but H.323 can be pretty chatty and involve several packet exchanges to set up a call.
