Hi community,

While trying to integrate CUCM 9.0 with AD 2008, we are getting an error- " Error while Connecting to ldap://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:389, null ,

we are trying with the Domain Administrator user, and using the root OU for all the users, eg: OU=Users,dc=cisco,dc=com.

Does anyone hit this error?

Thanks

Binu John

I think your Search base syntax is wrong...

It should be

CN=users, dc=cisco, dc=com

You can use AD explorer od ADSI tool to see your domain structure

Hi Aokanlwon,

I also doubt the same, since i had done inetgrations before never saw this error before.

I tried already cn=users,dc=cisco,dc=com

Just to make sure, anything on MS 2008/Security preventing this?

Thanks

John

I doubt it is a security thing. I will suggest two things

1. Use ADSI tool to see your AD structure..do you have those containers there

2. Try port 3268 (the GC)

Is your domain cisco.com?

I have AD 2008 with CUCM 9.1 and I dont have that error
