Hello guys,
just a question for the upcoming leap second (CSCut25356).
Why the systems that have manually set the time will be affected ?
Is there the need to add a fake NTP there also ?

Hi Mate,
Please ref to below:
-----------------
http://www.cisco.com/web/about/doing_business/leap-second.html
To ensure the correct alignment of astronomical and atomic time, the International Earth Rotation & Reference Systems Service has called for an extra second to be added to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) at 23:59:59 on 30 June 2015.
This will be the 26th leap second adjustment since 1972, and represents an important consideration for providers of computing, networking, and software solutions.
----------------------
The CUCM version 8.0 and earlier are not able to handle that addition of extra second correctly. So we need the work around.

Guys, thanks for the answers.
But i 've read all these.
My question is other than that.
I have a customer that runs without NTP, just manually set the clock.
Is he affected or not ? Simple as that :)

Hi
My understanding is that systerms run on local time are not directly impacted. Just that they will be a second ahead of global time after inserting a leap second.
Correct me if I am wrong.
